Anyone tried the "Brown Bag Special" from CI?

It's a special ten cigar sampler for $20. They don't promise exactly what you'll get, but they do promise satisfaction. I was going to tag this along to an order I'm making. I just wanted to make sure nobody ordered this and got burned. Knowing CI's reputation, I'm sure it hasn't happened, but there's no harm in asking!

Those are what I would consider the better cigars in the lot which would sell for around $35 to $40 in most shops. The other cigars are fine, just lower levels of the particular manufacturers and of course their are the mystery cigars.

But overall it sounds like a good deal.

Looks good to me, minus the 5 Vegas. I wouldn't call it a rocket, but I just hated those things! But doesn't mean you will. :smiley20:

I saw the same thing. It looked like a good deal to me. I think that I am going to order it.

Basically, about half of them are good and about half are possible junk. You never know though. Sometimes there's a hidden gem in junk. I think you're probably better off getting a sampler of eight well known cigars. Please feel free to comment on any of these cigars if you've tried them. How are those Cu Avanas? I was curious about them but nobody else sells them. Also, whats with CI's reputation? Are there problems only with mail order? I'm going to college in Bethlehem so I figure this will be my main source for the next 4 years.

I haven't tried any of them yet, so I couldn't tell you. I've ordered from CI twice now and not had any problems.
