Had my second one of these today. Both burned evenly, but were a tough draw. I think the rollers they've got down in Honduras need to lay off the weights. The flavor is a tad buttery, a little too much like Bucks cigarettes I had 15 years ago (a bundle of 3 packs for $3.00). Definitely smokable, but I won't be going back to this one.
I loved the Excalibur. I did not mind the tight draw and I really enjoyed the flavor!
This used to be one of my favorite smokes. It's been a while since I've had one, but I remember it being an excellent smoke.
I had my first last weekend and I can honestly say I thought it was gross, very tight draw, way to buttery, overal flavor just didnt fit my cryteria.
I've had a tin of the cigarillos, probably a completely different taste though.

Tried the robusto, one dimensional and harsh
smoked the 1 2 3 4 from cigar international and they were great smokes. I really enjoyed these and have one left.
These are one of my "go to" non-Cubans. I prefer the Prensado because it's a double maduro.
The draw is nearly perfect on these, it's nice and firm like a good cigar should be but not too firm like a plugged cigar.
Are you sure you're just not too used to lower to medium priced domestics where the draw is generally not as firm?
I actually got two boxes of these for my birthday. I have smoked several and thoroughly enjoy them. You are correct that they are drawn way too tight for my taste, but they burn evenly and seem consistent in their taste.Quote:

I've smoked a few of these and found them very tasty. The buttery character is different from my usual smokes Exodus, maduros etc....
I had one at lunch today. A nice smoke! A nice firm draw. Maybe a hair tight, but nothing to complain about. A pretty stick sporting a dark brown wrapper with a nice sheen. It had a nice sweet cedary bouquet. Slow burning, so give yourself some time. It started off mild, but worked up to a solid medium by the middle. Not overly complex. A hint of sweetness with a light peppery bite on the finish, but mostly a straight premium earthy tobacco flavor. No harshness at all. A very smooth cigar. Then again, this cigar really doesn't have a unique character to boast. It's pretty straight forward. A good relaxing all around medium bodied cigar. This one would go well with most anything I think. Probably a good smoke for lunch, or cocktails and finger food. I'd go with something a little stronger for after a hearty dinner.
