Secret to Box pressed???
I just received 2 5packs of some box pressed cigars. One was a Perdomo Reserve Maduro and the other slips my mind at the moment. These are the first box pressed cigars I have ever bought and was wondering if there was some "secret" to smoking these. I just had the Perdomo and last night I had onbe of the others and the draw on both was so pathetic I couldnt even smoke them. The draw was very ver tight and I couldn;t get a good mouthful of smoke to enjoy. It got to the point I was puffing so hard on the perdomo the end swelled and I believe was smoked out but I got almost nothing in my mouth. :smiley5: Now I'm stuck with 8 cigars that I can;t smoke and don;'t know what to do. :smiley35:
Help?

Give them some time in your humi. :smiley20: Sounds like the vendor may have kept them too "wet" and they need some time to rest in a stablilzd environment.

My favorite cigar at the moment is the Torano Exodus 1959 (Not Silver) It is a box pressed cigar and I have yet to have a dud.

I agree, Hex. I've got some of the same ones, and they're great....the draw is perfect!
