Hey Guys, my father is renovating and wants to build a walkin humidor where a closet use to be in his office...he currently put me in charge of this task, since Im kind of a handy man of sorts. Does anyboday know of any plans or instructions on the internet??? I need to know what I absolutely need to do to make this a success, rather than just an expensive nice smellin closet ! I need the Do's, the Must Do's and the Dont's !!!! :smiley1: :smiley1:
You may want to check out this site when you're considering climate control systems. They have temperature/humidity alarms, plus integrated systems with humidifiers, etc.
I've never done anything like what you describe, but I thought I'd add this to your list of possibilities. I just know their equipment is used in high-quality humidors such as these.

Line the entire thing with 3/8" spanish ceder and make it air tight. :smiley37: season it and go!!

I told my wife, when we build our house in a few years, that we are going to have a smoking room with a walk in humidor in it. All that I have to do is build her an entire closet for her shoes!
Odds are she will get that closet even if you dont get what you want.
