Opinions on Olor Fuerte?
Hi, I just purchased a box of Olor Fuerte Magnum and with the purchase I got a free box of Olor Rothschild (Maduro). All for $100.
Olor Fuerte Magnum
Size: 6 x 60 Shape: Toro Wrapper: Dk Natural
Olor Rothschild
BOX 25 Maduro 4 1/2 x 50
Wondered if anybody here tried these? Good or bad reviews? Good or bad deal? I welcome positive or negative opinions. Thanks!
BTW, my favorite cigar is ROYAL JAMAICAN ORO ROJO CHURCHILL! It also might be the most expensive cigar I tried. I am into $1-$5 cigars. I think Royal Jamaican was $6 cigar a friend gave me. I am new to cigars but this is my favorite. Others I have tried and have in humidor are box of Padron 2000, Sherpa Mystic (barbar poll), La Floridita and La Vieja Habana. (all are fantastic for the price except La Floridita)
(5packs) El Rey Del Mundo, Pedermo2, Fonseca, Gurka, Diablo, R&J along with 20ct premium sampler pack. My 300 count Humidor will be full after this Olor purchase! Might have to sell some to friends to make room. But I am buying a bunch now (all within the last 3 months) because I have read aging cigars is the way to go. Easy to buy cigars but can't put a price on aging them. Only way you can age them is buying large quantities at once. Otherwise you smoke them before you age them.

olor???....never heard of a cigar brand,olor.....
-
never heard of them,
So did you try one before you bought the box, or did you buy the box and then try one?
-
No I have not tried them. So I took a risk. I prob. should have posted this PRIOR to making the purchase. But I was worried their deal would go away. 25 cigars cost $100 and they have special they give you box 25 free of smaller ones like I mentioned. 50 cigars for $100 seemed like great deal. They got great reviews from their site from other smokers.
They are from famous-smoke.com and here is the description......
Olor Fuerte - (HONDURAS)
Designed to appeal to the tastes of cigar smokers who want a lush, full-bodied cigar, we went all out on Olor Fuerte! This exciting, new, heartier Olor Fuerte blend consists of robust Dominican, Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers with a Mexican San Andreas binder surrounded by an extra-dark, natural Talanga Cubano wrapper. The result is a remarkably smooth, flavorful cigar that's powerful but not overpowering. Order a box now and you may agree with what we said: 'Oh Lord!'
Olor Fuerte Magnum (the one I purchased)
Olor Fuerte Magnum cigars pack a big salvo of rich, dark tobacco flavor. Saddled in dark, oily Honduran-grown Talanga Cubano wrappers, their creamy smoothness, perfect balance and complexity have made them one of our most highly-rated cigars ever. Check out the other appetizing shapes, too!

sound tasty. When they arrive let them rest for a couple of weeks then post a review.

my guess....a famous "private" label......

Yes I have had them. For the price they are good. I too would suggest a rest in the humi once you get them.
