Cigar Dividers
Ok, so embarking on my first cigar construction product. I have decided that i need some more dividers in my humidor. The solution i have in mind is making a divider/thing-to-hold-my-humidification-divice. That would give me another divider and also a place to stick the humidification thing which sits around in my humidor like a dead dog. I've planned to use a cigar box i got from CI(ordered the 5 Vegas sampler- not overly into them) and cut up the box to hold my humidification thing. Then use wood glue to hold it together. So, please disect this idea, let me know how i could make this idea work better. Also, how should i deal with the slots on the humidification thing that let out water/humidity? Any ideas:smiley25:

Ok, so my grand idea didn't work, at all. However i did stumble across this site: http://www.humidorcentral.com/divider2.asp Which apears to make dividers custom order, for all of you who viewed this post, my peoples.

What are you using as a "humidification thing"?
-
I'm using a large rectangular humidifier. The dimensions are 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3/4". I think I'm going to just buy a couple dividers off of the link i put on and forget about the holder for the humidifier. :smiley6:

Why not stick a magnet/velcro to your humi lid?
-
I have a glass lid so I've basicly kept the humidifier along one of the walls in the humidor. I picked glass cuz i like to look at my cigars.

Then I guess a duct tape solution isn't going to work, either... :smiley21:

Hey, duct tape sticks to glass just fine :smiley2:

Yeah, duct sticks to glass just fine... But you know the old saying: "People who live in glass houses don't duct-tape stuff to the walls"
Same goes for people with glass-top humidors...
