I have both. A medium-sized humidor that I keep in my living room. It holds about 75-100 cigars; a wide assortment of the ones I intend to smoke in the relatively near future, or those I want to show off. They are kept in stylish luxury, waiting to give me pleasure.
My backup stash of another 150-200 cigars is kept in wooden cigar boxes within a coolidor tucked in a closet. It's sort of like cigar purgatory; they will eventually make it into my main humidor when it is their time, and they are deemed "worthy".
I have enough cigars for a good year, in case the bird flu hits and I'm holed up for a while. In the same vein, I also have an assault rifle and ample ammunition, but that's for a different forum.
I have a JR barrister bookcase for my boxes. I like the look of it. I have two 100 ct. desktops for singles.
I have 50 ct and 100 ct humidors and one 70qt coolidor , with an estimate of 275 cigars in the 3 containers . Always be prepared just incase you get snowed in for awhile .
any advice on how to create a succesful coolador since i have filled my humi. i was thinking tubawear box with stacked top less boxes and some humi beads.
