Back to the beginning
Hello all! I joined this site last summer, read a bit, made a few posts, made my newbie mistakes, and watched my first asshat flaming by george and CC! Ended up postinig over on cigarpass after that and realized that the cigar BB world was a small one. So, after making CP my home for a while, I became an active lurker at cigarsnobs, and subsequently back here (the first BB I ever joined!) Hopefully my lurking will morph into active participation, but figured I'd give a re-introduction of myself first. (In fact, I was so new to the BB's that I don't even think I made an intro at all here back when I first joined!) So here I am!
Other tidbits of crap about me...Hopefully finishing up with grad school in a year or so, getting married in September of this year, like cigars (mostly swishers and phillies:smiley2: ) and bourbon...blah blah blah.... See you all around the boards!
Edited to make it clear that I was kidding about the swishers and phillies!

Swishers and Phillies!!?!?!? We may need to educate you a little...:smiley36:
Welcome back!

smoking (and ENJOYING) swishers and phillies means you haven't really smoked a cigar yet.....
find a store (not a gas station)...buy 4 or 5 decent cigars and let us know how you enjoy your experience....

:smiley36: Well, I was screwing around with that swishers/phillies comment, but I guess I didn't let on to that fact appropriately!:smiley36:
DG, not sure that I'll make it to cigarfest this year, but if not, I am definitely going to try for next year.
Seriously, I enjoy all types of cigars, (minus swishers and phillies!) I am currently on a Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion and Rocky Patel SG kick. Of course I LOVE Opus X when the occasion presents itself, and have just discovered some pretty nice La Flor Dominicana's. I also stumbled upon a couple of AF Hemi Signature Maduros which were amazing, and I am also a fan of the AF 858's. So yeah, I'm definately (sp?) NOT a seasoned cigar smoker, but my tastes have completely surpassed the gas station brands!

Welcome to CSmokers from west Texas. I like the celebracions too. And the LFD chisels. The Signatures are nice, but I'd rather have almost any other Hemingway than that one. Or an 858.
