I don't have a shop near me, closest is about an hour and ahalf away so I don't get out there often to ask for old boxes. Does anyone have or know where I can get some cedar pieces? I only need scraps or small size pieces to put in my coolerdor which is not very large. It is one of the smaller coolers and holds about 50 sticks very nicely but I would like to get some cedar in there.
You need cedar boxes? I can get pretty much any size you need - let me know and I'll ask my shop to put them aside for me...
Well, boxes or inserts. Just want to add some to my coolerdor. However, I may be upgrading to a full size cooler and some whole boxes would be nice too to use for single storage. If you could grab a few that would be sweet, then let me know what shipping is and I'll gladly take care of that. Thanks a bunch.
A proper 50 stick humi is not very expensive and is available on the internet. Have you consideded that?Quote:

Have one and the lid broke off and now it doesn't keep a good seal. I have an extra cooler laying around so I am using that for now. It works great and has a perfect seal. I have beads in it now so the humidity should stay level as long as I air it out every week. Just want the cedar for extra protection and I like the smell/flavor it imparts on my smokes.Quote:
