I'm pleased to report that despite the public smoking ban due next July,London is currently very cigar friendly:-)

Last night I enjoyed a cigars at the excellent Casa Del Habanos in Wardour street
( well worth a visit) followed by diner at the Cuban themed restaurant "Floridita" which is next door to the Casa.

Floridita has excellent food, wine, service, live Cuban music and of course cigars smoking at the tables....highly recommended.

Late night drinks and early morning breakfast at 3.a.m. (!) were thoroughly enjoyed at the famous Annabel's nightclub on Berkeley Square
( members only I'm afraid) and yes....cigars friendly.

Lunch today was at Boisdales in Belgravia at the invitation of Cigar Buyer magazine where I was asked
to assist in a blind Champagne and cigar tasting...most enjoyful.

Boisdales restaurants are of course cigar friendly and well worth a visit.

Dinner this evening will be at the Churchill cigar Divan on Portman Square:-)...tomorrow I'll have to go on a diet!

So I don't know where we will be smoking cigars from next July onwards but at least for now,Londoners are somewhat spoilt for choice:-)

I've been steadily puffing my way through boxes of the new limited edition Partagas SD3 and Montecristo robusto
and have to say they really are the most consistent Limited editions that I have enjoyed so far.
In terms of blending,appearance and construction these cigars are genuinely first rate.

I always prefer the first production batch on new cigars and these are seriously limited in allocation by our importer
Hunters and Frankau so fill your humidors whilst you have the chance!
