In preparation for this email, I smoked the TORO MADURO yesterday. The wrapper was attractively oily with a dark, ebony tone and the cigar was WELL- PACKED. The cigar burned perfectly, too. I had the ash at 1½-inches before it dropped into the ashtray under its own weight. The smoke is THICK, CREAMY, AND VERY SMOOTH throughout as it stealthily builds in strength and spiciness with a burly, semi-sweet aroma. Where you feel its punch is not on the back of your throat, but in your bloodstream, like a double shot of gourmet espresso. The COROJO wrapper shapes are BUTTERY in texture like Cuban cigars, equally hearty in strength, and somewhat more complex in taste.
