1000 post contest

OK, time for my 1000 post contest. Post in this thread guessing the date and time of my 1000th post and win five free premium cigars!!! Everyone who has at least 100 posts is welcome to participate, and yes, that includes Sid and Barry.

Can we take a stab at it when u have 999 posts :smiley2:

i know im not eligible, but i propose this: Everyone who is participating send a pm to a designated non-participant with your guess, and that person can hold them untill the 1000th post occures. Does it have to be exactly on, or is it the person who gets the closest?

and just for fun, my guess is wednesday aug 30, at 1932.

By calculating your posts per day, and then adding a little bit more due to this thread and people asking you questions and responding, I think it will be September 1st, 1pm eastern.

That is a good suggestion, does anyone want to volunteer to take the guesses and then notify me who wins?

And one more thing, all replies have to be received by no later than 11:59PM Thursday 8/31/06.

FYI, our internet connection crashed on Wednesday morning last week, and is still out. Time Warner turned the whole week into a clusterfuck; they had to send three guys out (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday) before they even figured out what is wrong. And since the problem is with their equipment, not mine, it's going to be another 4-5 days.

So you lucked out you lucky guy, otherwise my 1000th post probably would have been on 9/5 or 9/6!!!
