Trip to Tampa
Hello all,
Been hanging around for a while and decided to join up. A quick intro-I'm originally from Tampa but have been in the Atlanta area for about 10 years (but may be moving back soon). I work in law enforcement, enjoy reading and firearms, and currently have a mouse lurking around somewhere. I quit cigarettes, smoke a pipe periodically, but am new to cigars (the only "real" ones I've smoked were a Chavon, CAO Anniversary, and am on my last of 10 Fuente Cubanitos).
I'm going to Tampa at the end of the month. I will definitely be stopping by the Tampa Sweethearts shop. I was wondering if any of you had heard of or tried these local brands:
Gonzalez Habano- http://www.cigarsoftampa.com/
El Sol- http://www.elsolcigars.com/
Rodriguez & Menendez- http://www.tampacigars.com/Home.htm
They say you get what you pay for, and while the prices for these are not unreasonable, they seem to be on par with some of the premium brands (sometimes more, it seems).
I look forward to hearing from y'all and look forward to learning lots more and experiencing some great smokes.

Actually, I was going to stop by there and see if they had some Mac Baren Plumcake blend for my briar. I'll have to check their cigar selection too.
