About 2 years ago we came across bales of this simply gorgeous,
golden Connecticut shade-grown tobacco at UST?s Honduran
factory. What really piqued our interest about this tobacco was
that it was labeled indicating that it was from a 1997 crop. We
jumped at the opportunity to use this tobacco to create a
premium, mild cigar. In order to provide a mild cigar with a
good amount of flavor, we blended many variations of Dominican,
Honduran, and Nicaraguan tobaccos until we finally produced the
perfect formula. We decided to use a Dominican and Honduran
filler blend with an Ecuadorian binder leaf. This blend,
accompanied by the genuine Connecticut shade wrapper, creates a
smooth, mild smoke with hints of cedar. Each cigar is
tissue-wrapped, leaving the band and the top inch of the cigar
exposed. This method wrapping protects the foot of the cigar
while still allowing you to view this gorgeous cigar's wrapper.
