Park Avenue Serie '44'
Well hell, i'm bummed, i was a bit excited to try this cigar out. It had a bit of a diff. smell to it, started out quite nice, then what happens? It slides into the ashtray and i'm left with a ashy/relit taste. Has anyone tried this before? Is it worth retrying?

I got 3 of em with a sampler i got a while back...
i really liked them a bunch... need to look around for a fiver of em...

i saw that ci.com has them, pretty good price also. I'll probably try them again sometime later on

also i think i'm going to buy a new ashtray. anyone have that stinky cigar ashtray? Need something that the rest doesnt tilt, i think thats why my cigar slid into the ash.

Just curious- how long did they sit in your humi before you smoked them? Did you wait the standard two weeks for them to come down from their 70% storage humidity from the place that you purchaed 'em.? :smiley25: :smiley5:

it was in my humi about 2-3 months

alright, well i got to retry one, so i'll attempt a review on it
it was a mild cigar, didnt have much complexity too it, but had a bit of a different smell and taste to it, couldnt quite pinpoint what it was, but had a very nice smooth even burn throughout, i also attempted a 100 scale too it, and ended up with a 89, which is pretty good i assume? just wondering what every1 else rated it too see if i'm pretty close with the 100 rating. But i did like the cigar, probably wouldnt be a very good everyday cigar, but still good.
