Anybody know anything about these cigars?
They're an inexpensive (less than $2.00 per stick) medium bodied cigar from Nicaragua. I'm not sure if they're a "puro."
Thompson sells them but I don't know if they are the exclusive sellers of these.
I've never smoked them but they don't look like something I'd enjoy.
Smoke one or two and tell us what ya think!
rock on all winners in CT!!!!!!
hahaha. sorry i cant help you out on the smokes though. but congrats anyways!!
Not very good at describing what I'm tasting. Just know what i like and don't like.
Thanks Jon.....
Have you smoked them yet? I know what you mean, I'm pretty much the same way. There are several cigars I "LIKE" but it's hard for to describe exactly WHY. Big things for me are draw and burn, if the draw is way too loose (which is the case with most low end cigars) I don't like this at all because it usually means the cigar winds up burning too hot for me. On the other hand if the draw is too tight, that drives me nuts too. I have found a couple of shitty brands like Don Thomas and Puros Indios to be rolled way too tight and when you try and draw on them, it's painful.
As far as burn, many lower end cigar manufacturers use filler with some pretty good sixed veins in the leaves causing the cigar to burn way too crooked and to start flaking off large chunks that burn my clothes and my car seat which really pisses me off.:smiley7:
So Dickson when and if you do smoke these, I'd be interested in your observations on burn and draw and if the ones you smoke are maduro, please let us know if it's a nice, sweet, sugary maduro flavor you experience from the wrapper or if it just tastes like dried out crappy tobacco (which many low end maduros do:smiley2: ).
Haven't received them yet. But, I'll give it a try when I do.
