Montecristo Afrique Jambo
One of the better cigars I've smoked! Unfotunately, the price is a bit prohibitive to the economical smoker.
As with all Monte's I've had, the construction and draw were near perfect. The dark oily Cameroon wrapper on these is particularly attractive. The bouquet and unlit draw on this is very pleasant and aromatic. Nice and complex with a medium to full body. Starting off sweet, cedary, and earthy, with a peppery bite that gets stronger as you smoke it down. A little head buzz at the end. This cigar reminds me of a souped up Matasa blend. If you want to mix the sweetness of a Cu-Avana Maduro with a heavier Punch type full flavor, this is it. These are better and cheaper than the CAO CX2.
A really nice cigar!
