My wonderful girlfriend new i wanted a coffee table and a humidor. so she bought a chest, ordered the spanish cedar, and turned the trunk into a giant humidor, complete with shelves and little boxes. I'm so excited. I immediately started seasoning it and just bought another bag of 1lbs beads, all this within the last hour.

i feel like a kid again.
Got a gift certificate from a local cigar shop for 100$ from Candy and the Kids. Pretty cool deal if I do say so myself. This being in adittion to the 300 count humi she scored me on ebay for 50 $ last week

i asked for a humidor and got a cheesy wallet to add to the desk drawer full of things i already have...
I got a bunch of golf club covers with my college logo on it(the CU Buffalo's), a new golf bag, some nice clothes, and the coolest thing which totally caught me off guard from my Dad's brother: my Grandpa's framed High School Diploma, the original. It puzzled me for a bit and when I asked my Uncle and Aunt about it, they said since I'm the oldest blood male in my family, they thought that its time to give me one of the family heirlooms. Its really awesome the more i think about it:smiley1: . BTW, my girlfriend was instrumental in helping out my family with the golf stuff. They all emailed her and she sent them in the right direction:smiley20:
I have to say I consider myself a damn fuggin lucky guy. My wife blew me away by giving me a Season Ticket to the new MLS expansion team Toronto FC. I love football (not American football, soccer as many call it over here) and even knowing that it will mean she will see less of me (I also travel a lot) she still got me a club membership and season ticket. Duhhh-aaaaamn!! She even enlisted a good friend of mine for advice on which seat she should get for me and settled on one in the supporters end. Amazing! :smiley3: :smiley20: :smiley4:
Another amazing gift was just being able to spend some time with my family. Having only been back 2 years after living abroad for over 8, it is pretty special just to walk through the acres of woods at my parents place with my dad, me smoking a cigar and just chatting.
