Hey,
My name is Steve Ronan. I have been doing the cigar thing for a little over a year now. I am 18, and still attend high school locally, but plan on attending Michigan State University in the fall of '07.
My first cigar was when I was 15, and was some Mexican cigar that a friend procured. I practically inhaled the whole thing, and did not enjoy it. Then after I turned 17, intrigued by the hobby, I started smoking gas station "cigars". After screwing around with those for about 2 months, I went to a good shop in Gettysburg, PA and got a Cusano Corojo '97 Churchill and CAO Criollo Plato, both of which I greatly enjoyed.
After those I was able to get some more cigars I actually enjoyed, including Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuentes, a Montecristo #3, Montecristo Buena Fortuna, CAO CX2, Cusano CC, Onyx Reserve Belicoso, Romeo y Julieta 1875 Bully, and yes I do enjoy Henry Clays. :smiley1: I generally enjoy the maduros, and like my cigar to be a consistent smoke, rather than complex and ever changing. This is probably what I enjoyed most about the Hemingway I recently had. I cannot recall everything I have smoked up to this point, but I am looking forward to more and more. I just added some Puros Indios Viejos into my humidor and got a box of Montecristo Fer De Lance Maduros I am psyched about.
I ran into this forum about 6 months back, and have been doing a little bit of reading. Now that I got my clearance to speak from the moderators, I figured I would introduce myself.
I look forward to getting to know the guys* on these boards.
As a side note about myself, I grew up in Tokyo and speak Japanese, enjoy baseball, ping pong, and watching the Packers. Any questions, feel free to shoot them my way.
Oh, and any1 have black and milds they wana sell to me?:smiley2:
