I'm challenging you!
and you said you're not a "gamer" tsk tsk
I do not play Age of Empires, but you may like a game called Stronghold/Stronghold Crusader. I would recommend them both, more so the latter. Stronghold 2 seems to be excessively complicated for a beginner, and almost too complicated for me to enjoy.
If you get into it, or anyone else is, then we should try to get a game going. It is about the only game I really play.
Crusader friggin' rules!!!
Starcraft is always a hoot, too!

Man, I LOVE Galaga....and Pac-Man was awesome, but when they put a bow on him and made him Ms. Pac-man???? Completely over-the-top badass!
Starcraft will never get old. I used to play AOE2 nonstop during college, but since AOE3 came out, could never go back to AOE2.
Chris, get AOE3 and I'll play with ya. It's definitely an improvement from AOE2.
Andrew
Ya, I wasted so much time on this game back in high school. I downloaded AOE2 yesterday out of boredom. I tried getting AOE3, but the downloads didn't look to stable. I use U Torrent. I looked at Best Buy and that sucker was $50. No, sir.
I might just have to try again on some different sites, or wait till the price goes WAY down.
Once I obtain this, you will come to realize I am a force to be reckoned with.
The last multiplayer game I played was Starcraft waaaaay back in the day. The last MMORPG I played was Ultima online. I have been tempted by WOW, but have resisted so far.
I have been following the develpment of the Middle Earth online forever now. They are now saying it may be released in Spring 2007; it entered beta testing in middle of 2006. As soon as it goes live, I am THERE!!!
Other than that, I got Dungeon Siege II about six weeks ago and I am getting much less sleep now than prior to purchasing it. Whadda helluva game!!!
I may pick one up today when I go to the city to pick up my sister from the airport.
I have only been playing a couple months...just since I put a few bucks into my computer and got a new video card. I really don't know how that teamspeak and voip thing works, but I have a few local buddies that play...I am sure they will hook me up.
I really don't want to get a mic though. I always make fun of my roomate when he plays games with his mic on.:smiley36:
avoid WoW at all costs, i've got a friend who decided to put off college for a year to "work". i swear he's playing that game every hour he's not at work, i don't know when he sleeps
i used to play diablo II, i was addicted to that game from 7th grade until i was a sophomore, such a crazy good game
I still have my Nintendo Console (1st version)and Zelda games LOL
I didn't join till it had been around about 4 years. I had good times for about a year, then I realized most of the life had been squeezed out of the game and the number of players was dropping dramatically. Then they started to release new realms constantly but it just turned into an artiwhore hunt, which was boring as hell, so I stopped playing.
Definitely be careful of WoW. A couple of my poker buddies signed up for that, and they were never seen again.......except maybe once a month.
One friend of mine took 1 week worth of vacation to play the game. THAT'S INSANE!
