Does Anyone have a Madelaine Round digital hygrometer? Its says not to calibrate it but its giving me a 45% RH in my humi... while my analog which I do not trust gives me 70%. I don't think my RH is actually that low... any suggestions?

try to take out the battery and put it back in to reset it.
if that doesn't work do the salt test
Or even better get one of those new Hygrometer test bags that you leave it in for 24 hours or so.Quote:

Otherwise, if you haven't been introduced, do a search on the board for "heartfelt beads" or "viper beads" - keeps the humidity at 65% (+/-), no muss, no fuss. Like a lot of folks here, we don't even check or keep our hygrometers anymore as a result.

I have the same Digi Hygro. Change the batteries and do the salt test. Who knows, it might be correct and you actually might need to increase the humidity in your Humi. Good luck.
