JdN Celebracion!
Well, it's cold & snowy, I ain't goin' nowheres. Looks like it's cigar smokin' time!
Yesterday I spent some quality time in my garage with a new friend, the Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion torp (courtesy of SAG Imports, thanks Sid!).
I have to say that I spent a little time correcting the burn, but in all honesty I was bored and tend to be rather OCD about that sort of thing. I'm sure it would have fixed itself had I left it alone.
The best word that comes to mind to describe the flavor is "chunky." Like the feeling you get in your mouth when you taste a big Cabernet or Sangiovese, or when you have that first espresso in the morning and it's just perfect.
This cigar definitely fired on all taste buds. A rich, earthy taste hits first, and the finish is reminiscent of bittersweet chocolate and coffee.
Definitely scores high marks with me.

I had one of these a couple months back up in Memphis. Although it was too full for me at the time, I really enjoyed the cigar. I bought a fiver right after and now we're playing the waiting game.

Just smoked one of these (thanks monk!) and thought it was great. It had some nice earthy/nutty flavours and full bodied.
