Hey Timm, WELCOME!:smiley20:
We'll ween you off those Macanoodles in no time!:smiley4:
haha, i heard macanudo's weren't too much favored round here. But, i haven't tried a terribly vast variety of cigars... so if you suggest anything, i'll try it.
Welcome from the tip of MS. For a mild smoke, try the Montecristo White or the Rocky Patel Connecticut. For what you are paying for those Macs, there are a ton of other cigars that are better and cheaper. Go to a local shop and ask them to fix you up with a variety of cigars. If they try to push the Macs on you, find another shop.
thanks for the tips... i'm trying to find something cheaper than macanudos for sure.
Welcome from Iowa, if you like a mild cigar I'm partial to the Fonseca vintage, gispert, of course the montecristo white is a great cigar, usually a little higher priced, but a lot better that macanoodles
I made a list of all your suggestions plus a few i found scattered across the board... I'm going tom. to see which ones i can get for cheap...
I also have a Partagas LR 1996 in my humidor... it was recomended to me, any thoughts on that one?
Welcome from DC. Try Casa Torano's they are a great mild smoke.
Welcome to the 4M from another NooB.
Welcome from VA! You will enjoy trying all the different cigars being recommended. I too used to be a Macanudo fan, until this forum turned me into the right direction. Never looked back since.

Welcome from Kansas.
Welcome from Maryland.
If your looking for a mild smoke another good cigar is 5 Vegas Limitada, and for a reasonable mild smoke (about $1.00 a stick) you might want to try a Baccarat and/or Flor de Olivia.
Welcome from Central Georgia
And I second the Casa Torano, it's a very good mild smoke!
Welcome from Tupelo, MS. You should join in on the Atlanta Herf we're (supposedly) having.
5 Vegas Gran Reserva (Red Label) aren't mild but they won't kill ya and are inexpensive. Don Kiki Red and Green Labels are another cheap smoke.
Welcome to the forum!

On a related note: A new B&M opened in my area so I went to check it out. Some Koreans are known by how hard headed they are, well I proved that statement correct today. I smoked my first Macanudo and I will say it will likely be my last. This thing was horrible, the only thing pleasureable about the experience was watching my kids play outside while I smoked it. I am not one to quit, so I went through as much as I could, but man it was along hour.
