Tobacconist advice
I was talking with my tobacconist about the bullet cutter. He actually gave me one for free, a really nice one that when you twist it the blade comes out(makred at $35!). And you can take it apart to change the blade if need be. Anyways, later on I told him I had smoked one of my cigars with the bullet cutter and found I had problems getting a good draw. He advised me that generaly speaking cuban cigars are rolled much tighter so a DG cutter is what I should be using. I still love the bullet cutter on the chisel cigar! wow. It definatly has its place. Just thought I would mention what he said, anyone else find any truth to that???

I've never heard that but his statement has some validity. Cuban cigars are rolled tighter for the most part resulting in a nice, firm draw BUT I don't think how you cut them makes any difference. Some people do but I do not.
I use a bullet cutter on Cuban cigars all the time. :smiley20:
I also agree with you about using the bullet cutter in the LFD Chisels :smiley20:

Just that with the DG you are opening the whole end of the cigar up, instead of just punching a hole in it. You would get more of a draw naturally. I will have to try a few more various cubans with the punch before I can say for sure which i think is better:smiley20:
