Introduction
Hello to all...just wanted to take a minute introduce myself. Ive been reading this board off and on for a while and I figure its time to start posting a little bit. I am an extreme novice in the cigar world, but its a hobby Ive always admired and knew that someday I would fall into it more seriously. I have smoked a few sticks here and there over the past few years, starting while I was in college. I never really understood the differences between the cigars I smoked, I just knew that I liked some more than I like others. For the past few months Ive been doing more research based smoking...reading a review and then smoking that cigar to see how I felt it compared. I think Im finally ready to take the plunge and get a humidor and start building a collection.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a first humidor....Im not looking for anything lavish as my budget is somewhat limited, but Im willing to spend a few extra dollars for functionality and quality. Im thinking of one of these two packages as a starter, but im not sure if the Humi's are decent? Option 1 Option 2

On a persoal note...
I live in Roanoke, VA where I was born and raised. I just moved back here a year ago after getting a BS in Business Admin at the College of Charleston in SC. I work as a project manager for a construction company. I have a 2001 Dodge Durango that I have customized quite a bit and enjoy taking it to the occasional car show. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life, but I love the pleasure I get out of a great cigar! :smiley41:
