Humidor Groomsman Gift
I'm trying to come up with a gift for my best man and groomsman. I only have the two so I can afford to spend a little bit of money on them. I was thinking a small 50 count humidor with a glass top would be nice. I was thinking I could have the glass etched with something, to add a bit of personalization. Both of them smoke cigars, but are not connoisseurs by any means (nor am I). I would add in some heartfelt beads and probably just some extra thompson house brand cigars I have in my humidor and one really decent cigar. Does this sound like a good idea? Having never been part of a wedding until now I'm not sure if I should do something else for their gift. I'd like to give the best man something slightly nicer then the groomsman, just because he's throwing me a party, the groomsman seems to be there just to block the one other exit from the church so I can't escape. An important job sure, but not as much stress/financial investment required. The bridesmaids are probably going to end up with some kind of jewelry which they will be expected to wear at the ceremony. I just expect the guys to have a smoke with me at the reception, but they'll be doing that regardless of what they get. My biggest problem is that I don't know where to find a good quality humidor at a decent price. My humidor came from Thompson. I now know they aren't the best place, so I'm looking for other options. I'm open to any suggestions please.
Etching idea number one:
Across the top it could read
Thanks for blocking the exits.
Then my signature below. With their initials in a much larger font centered below.

I bought mine from Tampa Humidor. I also stop by there occasionally to pick up cigars. They are top notch folks, and have a wide selection of humidors.
Here is a link to their humidor inventory.

Having been a groomsman, and also had groomsman, the money output is totally up to you. Having a personalized gift is definitely a plus though. Congrats, and I hope you have a heck of a time.

I have one of my groomsman a humidor...from tampahumidor of course.
Also Mike, the owner of TH has a laser engraver and a sandblaster so pretty much personalize it exactly how you want it.

If I was the bestman I would want the Cabinet 5000 with my initals in the corner:smiley20:

But for real the Chandler II or Chelsea II look nice and they have the engarving option

A 10ct travel humidor with some cigars in it is also another way to go.
Everyone who smokes cigars needs one.

A personalized travel or pocket cigar tote with cigars, cutter, and lighter, and a personalized flask, along with a small bottle of their favorite spirit and a filler funnel is a good gift. They can use it at the reception, or on the joyride in-between.

Instead of the humi you may want to get a really nice leather 2 or 3 finger case. Then put in some nice stogies. When I graduated from Law School it was customary for the President (me) to buy a gift for the Dean and present it at the graduation. I got him a 2 finger Davidoff case and a couple of his favorite cigars. Cost me about $120. He still uses it to this day.
I would stay away from the Thompson stuff but that is just me. If you and your buddies like them then go for it.
Congrats on the wedding.
