Recharge when the humidity starts to drop. If you use beads, recharge when they appear to be mostly white.

It really does depend on the ambient humidity, the humidor seal, the type and quantity of beads, how full the humi is, etc.

There are a lot of variables. As Mark said, if you have beads, just recharge them when they get white, or when you can't hold a constant humidity.
