My wife did that when the same thing happened and it really did help.
In order to combat the smell that will inevitably follow, you can use apples. My wife leaves the windows down all the time, and even though you vacuum the :smiley35: out of it, it still ends up smelling a little rank after a short time. If you cut up a few apples and leave them in the car, they will suck up most of the stink.
We got this tip from a neighbor after our cat peed all over the back seats.

That's a new one. It seems like baking soda would also do the trick (a common remedy for a smelly fridge is to leave an open box of baking soda in there).Quote:
