Ny Bbq Herf

Alright guys, it's summer time, and well, that's almost over. Anyone up for a BBQ? My friend and me are thinking of having it at this park right off the Southern State PKWY, Hempstead Lake State Park I believe it's called.

So far the tentative date is August 25th

a good place for the children as well as wifes girlfriends, if you plan on bringing any, there's a lake you might be able to do some fishing, some tennis and basketball courts, parking seems inexpensive, and there is a picnic area and a playground for the little ones.

haha what? you got pleanty down there, send some up to my area...

Here is some more info:

BBQ is done by me and my friend and its free to you guys. We will be grilling burgers hot dogs and italian sausages.

We will also provide soda, beer, fruits etc.

Since it is a state park alcohol is not alowed so it's best to use cups or wrap a napkin around the beer bottle. I have been there many times and usually no one cares unless we make a sceen or make it too obvious.

We are thinking of starting around 1pm or so and going untill its dark.

Everyone is welcome we just ask that you post here so we get a more or less accurate count to figure out how much food and drink to get.

Ah, that's so close to me. The Southern State parkway literally runs through my backyard.

But alas, I'll be back at school by then.

It's next week the 25th!

Unfortunately, I can't make it Dan, Michelle has to take the GMAT, so I have to get her to and fro the test.

It'll be a great time though with lots of great people.
