Anyone else seen this German film?

The Lives of Others

The plot doesn't sound like much...

East German Stasi agent spying on a local play write and his girlfriend during the mid 80s. The more he sees the more empathy he has with them.

See, doesn't sound like much does it? But it's the best film I've seen all year. Makes you appreciate the freedoms we have even more.

i am also interested in anybodys review. the reviews i read on the net make it sound fabulous. but then again i know how that goes at times. i dont know if anybody other then the movie critics have ever heard of or seen this movie. i had never heard about it until i saw the new releases and reviews.
