Heading out very soon...
In about 2 weeks I'm heading to Iraq. I know I've said this in about 2 posts. However, I didn't want to just stop posting. Because of the nature of what I'll be doing I don't know when I'm going to be able to get on a computer less alone log on the board.
I'll try to keep up with everything and log in when I can. I won't be back until after the new year.
So, if you see my birthday pop up and no response, I'm there celebrating in an alcohol free world. :smiley11:
See you all on the flip side!

Settled In
I'm in Iraq and starting to settle in. The Cigar selection sucks here! You figure with Saddam and his sons enjoying nice smokes that there would be a wonderful selection. For those that want my snail mail it's...

Please, if you are plaining to send me anything, don't send any porn or alcohol. Those are forbidden here. I'll try to log on when I can. Chat with you all later.

be safe out there and come home with all your limbs and such

I just saw an HBO special where they interviewed 10 Iraq War vets who came back with severe injuries. I think the total is now over 27,000 severely injured vets. It made me get all choked up seeing those ten, and realizing they have so many comrades who suffered as much or more.
So here's hoping you stay safe, and that we get all of you guys and gals out of there as soon as possible.
