I smoked one of these last night on my way home from work. Very nice cigar! Its a "Toro" (6.5 x 48) one of my favorite sizes (next to a Torpedo). It had a smooth, nutty (almost chocolaty) taste. Highly recommended!

just had the same cigar as well last night. nicely square pressed. great mouthfeel. was like smoking a stick of rich chocolate, only better. had a wonderful aroma typical of maduros (an oscuro, in this case). flavor was never boring, kept me interested and kept improving as it got shorter. draw improved as well, as i couldn't get enough smoke out of it on the first inch, but opened up afterwards. great cigar, highly recommended. smoke on a full stomach as it can give the faint of heart a slight nic buzz. which is good. :smiley1:
I had one of these last night. This was my first Sancho Panza and I'll be getting a few more of these. Great construction, smooth draw. The burn got a little uneven about two inches into it. Shortly after that I had to relight it(probably my fault). After I relit it the burn evened back out and stayed that way. It seemed to be twice as good after the relight. I'm still new so I can't go into great detail as far as flavors, but it was good. I smoked this one with 3 amber Dos Equis. :smiley20:
have you guys tried the sancho panza double maduro Escudero? do all of these double maduros taste tjhe same??
This is one of my favorites - the ring size is 50 and I believe it is 7.25 long - rich dark wrapper very oily - lots of smoke and $ 3.35 a great deal.:smiley41:
P.S. No they don't all taste the same - a given length or rings size can greatly change the taste
I had the cervantes (sp?). I haven't smoked any of the other sizes but this was a good smoke. Nice little buzz.
I also tried one of these and agree. It's a very nice medium bodied, box pressed, maduro for a great price! It reminds me somewhat of the Onyx cigars. A real gem!
One of my regular smokes. The cervantes are less than $45 a box at jrs. At $2 and change for a good smoke it's a deal.
:smiley20: Not all the cigars taste the same becasue of the shape flavors and intensity vary.
Definately a good budget cigar, I intend on picking up a box the next time that I am in the States.
Definitely one of my fav cigars. Nice price too!
