Last time I bought some backwoods, the package had been sitting in the store for a while. Since I was driving, I gave the package to my girlfriend to open. She said jokingly that at first the thought I had bought a packet of mummy fingers.

Finally had my Cameroon nub 460 awesome cigar.
don pepin tb baez. my first time smoking this one and not the last.
I certainly don't have a problem with it. Nice play.
Just finishing up a Padron 1926 #9 Maddie in memory of Infinity on CPass. RIP.
I forgot how truly awesome these babies are! Perfect pairing with a hot spiced apple cider, btw...
Stanford's 90th Diamond Crown Maximus in memory of a friend. RIP Brian.

Thanks to my Secret Santa:
La Flor Domicana Double Ligero Lancero Cameroon accompanied by Speyside 12year Single Malt Scotch
:smiley20:
Yesterday was a El Mejor Espresso that came in the mail from a friend. I'm not sure if I liked it or not. It was a little dry and the wrapper kept cracking. I should have let it rest awhile.
12/7/2008:
Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon Robusto
Love it!
I has a a emerald mejor expresso today. I would say it was a good cigar. kind of in between. did not knock my socks off. but i would smoke one again.
camacho 1962 :smiley1:
very nice aftertaste, not much smoke though
Camacho Liberty 08 - Couldn't wait to try it. Perfect burn, plenty of smoke and awesome flavor. I want to say it was nutty and sweet, almost like caramel. Burned my fingers on this one and savored it all the way
Victor Sinclair Triple Corojo - Didn't finish it because of uneven burn and a little hard to draw. Good flavor but hoped it would've smoked as good as it tasted
Friday: AF Anejo 48
Saturday: Tat Black & Guapo RX
Damn fine weekend and damn fine smokes I must say!:smiley41:
Romeo y Julieta Vintage corona.
Nice medium smoke for me. nice way to relax after a Monday at work
Cruzado Dante. Great cigars from Dion at Illusione!
had break in the cold (got up to 43!) so I smoked a CI Legends Series Perdomo. not a bad smoke, especially considering the 2$ i paid for it. Draw was silky smooth. was somewhat harsh for the first 5 or 6 puffs, but smoothed out after that.
Saturday
CAO Gold Maduro robusto
CAO Soprano Associate
Ashton ESG 22 Year Salute (New.. Torpedo)
WOW!! I am not a Fuente fan, but this is an incredible cigar. A much better showing than the first two ESG - 20, 21 Year Salut. Very, very nice....:smiley41:
Not a Fuente Fan??:smiley5:
Had an Ashton VSG Enchantment last night, seemed kinda mild for a VSG.
Well... probably gonna take a beating for this one, but smoked an Acid Krush Classic Maduro. It was a small cigar wit a purple ring. I have saw alot of times this is a crap cigar brand, but I must say I liked it. Nice taste which goes along way with me at work since I pretty much keep the cigar in my mouth the whole time I'm smoking it.
Am I a bad person.....:smiley6:
BigWhiteAsh-
As I said.......on Fuentes I am not a fan. IMO they are more concerned about production numbers and not on flavor.
As for the VSG......you may have had an older box production. The VSG's where a bit flat up until 6 or 7 months ago. All new product I have been receiving looks and tastes much better. I am comparing to VSG's of a 1-1 1/2 ago. Todays wrapper color is much richer and flavor does pop.
Dependig on your tastes - it might be worth a revisit.
Over the weekend...
601 Blue at the B&M while watching the SEC Championship.
J.F.R. Corojo
Spanish Galleon robusto
J&R Cazadores (good cigar)
Ramon Allones Specially Selected (my first Ramon Allones, what a great cigar)
Had a Camacho Triple Maduro Torpedo last night,
Pepin Black label Perla this morning :smiley41:
Last Night: Ashton ESG 21yr
Just finished: Victor Sinclair 10th Aniversario Robusto
I noticed this. I bought a few VSG's from a B&M that had a lighter colored wrapper then the ones I recently purchased on cigarbid. The newer ones have a much darker wrapper and they seemed to have a more complex and rich flavor.Quote:

Last night... Anejo 55, the last regular release vitola i had yet to try. :smiley41:
Went to a Perdomo event tonight and smoked a Perdomo Habano Torpedo there and then brought a Perdomo 10th Anni. Maduro Robusto and smoked it when I got home.
Great cigars, both burned great. The Habano really picked up in the last third and had great flavor to it. The 10th Anni. Robusto was also really good, burned great. Great flavor all the way through. Nubbed both of these.
Then smoked my pipe :smiley37:
Also smoked a Camacho Corojo Ltd. 11/18 (Thanks to a very gracious BOTL), Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu 1 and a Sol Cubano Maduro the past couple of days
Gurkha Royal Brigade Perfecto. very nice :smiley1:
Saturday - Anejo Shark
Sunday - Sopranos Soldier and Illusione Holy Lance
Over the weekend...LG DIEZ Vintage 2008 Americano and Oriental (this corona packs punch).
IMO the entire LG line are easily top 5 cigars on the market today !!!!
I'm currently enjoying the hell out of an Illusione HL that Santa brought me. What an amazing smoke!
Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066
Enjoying a Oliva Series V Figurado. Great cigar... a little tight but the taste and burn make up for it
