Opus X. I still don't know which one. I think it was a Perfecxion X but I'm not sure.
Hold on, I just looked it up, yeah, it's was a Perfecxion X. It's like a short Reserva D'Chateau, 48 ring gauge but only 6 1/4" long instead of 7"

Gurkha Legend Perfecto last night in 55 degree air. You gotta love fall!!:smiley20:
Saturday I had:
CAO LX2 Lancero
Astral Talanga Valley Toro
Don Kiki Brown Figurado
JLP Cazadore
Yesterday afternoon, smoked an Opus X Fuente Fuente with my GF's dad. He truely enjoyed it and we'll do it again often.
Just finished a Padilla Signature 1932 Lancero.
Definitely NOT what I was expecting. I don't typically shy away from strong smokes, but this thing was on a whole new level. I think I'll try another after they sit awhile, but the other 3 will probably be going to someone else.
Monte Media Noche Robusto
then
Oliva O Robusto
then
Padron 4000 maduro
It was that kind of evening.
Arganese CL3
Padilla Hybrid Robusto.
Really good, very smooth.
Last night: La Aurora Emerald Prefferido
Just smoked a Clints Cigar. It is nice & mild. Experienced smokers wouldn't be interested, but for new guys it is pretty nice. It is also good to chew on while you are out on a mission. You know times when you can't light up. Nice mild flavor with a slight sweetness
Cain maduro straight ligero torpedo -- first third tasted like a dirty cookie, but it has improved. I didn't realize this was a Sam L. product -- just saw something new at the B&M.
Gurkha Masterblender
Just nubbed a La Aurora Preferidos Platinum. I am not usually goo-goo ga-ga over cameroon wrappers (Hemingways and a few others are exceptions), but this was a very nice medium bodied smoke.
Bout to try my first Romeo y Julieta Churchill. Picked it up earlier today from a store I've never been to. It's closer to me than the store I usually go to, but I've never known it was there before today.
Al Capone Cognac flavored
Let me explain first, until my order gets in, I'm pretty limited on what I can get my hands on. This was ghastly. I smoked it last night and I still taste it today. It had a great little draw, but I'd rather smoke a turd next time. No cognac flavor, just an extremely acrid taste. A soldier in S1 got these in the mail and he thinks they are great. I really thought I had wretched taste in cigars until this.
Had an OpusX Robusto last night that was absolutely incredible.

Olivia Series V Figurado
5 Vegas Classic Corona
Haven't posted in a while so to catch up the past few months...
In my good file:
CAO CX2
Partagas Sabrosa
Motecristo White Belicoso
Nat Sherman 489 Tubo 2
In my worthless file:
H. Upmann Signature (I smoke 20 and none of them burned evenly.)
In my shit to gold file - no - shit to better shit:
I was trying these Quarum tubos and hated them so they got lost in the bottom of my humi for a while. I was getting low on stock and didn't want to dip into any of my keepers so while I was waiting for a shipment in the mail I pinched my nose and lit up a Quarum. Not good but better than the H. Upmann. Well better than nothing I suppose.
Avo XO Notturno Tubos
:smiley1:
La Gloria cubano toro
Last night I had a Vega Fina Lonsdale. It was very mild and I liked the size, but it felt loosely wrapped, didn't hold the ash very well, and got hot awfully early.
Last night I was invited over to a friend's apartment to smoke with them. Unfortunately, I did not bring my humidor back here from home because I didn't have anywhere up here to smoke. Also, the B&M down the street was already closed for the night. So, I stopped by CVS and got a 4-pack of Palma Dutch Masters Masters Collection. You could really tell that this truly was the Masters Collection. They did not overlook a single detail! The bands were all facing the same direction in the box and each featured a bar code, presumably to make it easier to catalog these fine cigars into your complex system of humidors and coolerdors for the aging process. Each cigar came with a pre-punched hole in the foot so you don't have to fight off the urge to smoke one for a second longer. Palma, in their infinite wisdom noted the short-comings of old-fashioned all-tobacco cigars. They have augmented their cigars with both natural tobacco as well as non-tobacco ingredients! And to top it all off and add even more class, they wrapped it in a natural, imported wrapper! These are clearly the culmination of, as the package states, over 100 years of fine tuning.
