Last night I had a 5 vegas Miami Toro. MMMMM MMMM good!:smiley20:
Just smoked a CAO La Traviata. Good combination or spice, leather, and earth. By far the best CAO I have ever smoked!
Padron Anniv. '64 Torpedo MADURO
excellent smoke :smiley20:
Working on a Casa Torano Torpedo. Saw it on another post and thought I'd give it a try.
Just got a bundle of Tampa Sweethearts #50 naturals, fired one up right outta the box.
yesterday i had
Montecristo Platinum Churchill Tube [AL554] - very good, more of a mild taste but i was very pleased for only $10
followed by 2...
Acid C [DE159] - i had to kill some time and these were very cheap, so i had two of these, great taste, however if you are looking for a long smoke, these are definitely not a good choice
Had one more Padron Anniv. '64 Torpedo MADURO tonight.:smiley20:
Olivia serie G. Nice!
Last night was somewhat chilly for an early Sept. night in NC. I had the chance to enjoy one of my favorite cigars, a JdN Antaño 1970 Gran Consul. What a wonderful smoke!:smiley20:
Yesterday, cao la traviatta maduro & a rocky patel sungrown 60. Both excellent!
This morning, Trinidad Reyes. Kinda up & down with these personally - this one was pretty good though and a hair on the "strong" side.
Oliva Serie O Robusto (Natural) (5 x 50) during a round of disc golf. Robustos are the perfect length for 18 holes.
Yesterday was a big day for smoking I guess...

Padilla Edicion Especial
Alec Bradley Sungrown
Wasn't really impressed with the Bradley but the RP and Padilla were great. The MOW went with a cup of coffee very well too!
I'm starting to think that MOW is like Padron...they can't make a bad smoke. Haven't had the Virtue yet, so not sure how that one is, but everything else I've had is just awesome.
Excellent choice Brother! I'll have to try it with some of this Raven's Brew coffee, which is wonderful stuff.
Saturday, while walking around the NC Hot Sauce Festival, I was trying several craft microbrews and smoked an Oliva O Series Maduro Robusto, had a blast and some great NC style BBQ. Today while out fishing with my brother I had a Bahia Blu Torpedo, not a bad yard-gar when having to handle fish. Pretty great weekend!!:smiley20:

Davidoff Puro d' Oro Notables
Went to the local cigar lounge yesterday after work and had two sticks I haven't had before.
Xikar HC (Habano Colorado) Robusto
RP 15th Anniversary Robusto
HC kind of disappointed me, I was expecting something with a little more kick to it than it had. For the first 2/3 it was pretty mild, last third grew some strength but I was already bummed out by then. :smiley21:
The RP was a good smoke, this one has some flavor to it! Great change in the profile too although it was difficult to notice after the third scotch! :smiley20:
Padron 1964 Anniversary Natural ~ Imperial
Will
(thanks Cinda)
Carlos Torano Noventa 90 La Esperanza- great solid cigar. I did not want to put this one down.:smiley19:
I'm smoking on a five year old LFD factory press I and boy does it still have the same powerful spice like it did years ago!
Siglo Maduro Reserve IV
Frank Llaneza 1961 Magnum :smiley20:
A. Turrent Triple Play
I have heard/seen people say not so nice things about the Macanudo's but I believe that I have to try them for myself before making any final judgement. :smiley37:
Today I went to a B&M around here that has a nice lounge to sit around in and tried a Macanudo Maduro Vintage 1997. At first it was pretty harsh and made me wince but after that, it wasn't too bad. Certainly not the best stick I've ever had but not the worst by far. I won't be stocking them in my humidor but prolly wouldn't pass one up if offered.
Oliva Master Blends III ~ Robusto
Siglo limited reserve toro. A very fine stick IMHO.
Saturday 2 Omar Ortez robustos, 1 natural & 1 maduro...liked the maduro better.
Nothing Sunday.
CAO Black Mosaic...mmmm so good
Had the Torano 1916 tonight and... well, you'll see the review!
Partagas Lusitania
This cigar smoked like a savory meal. Pretty incredible, I even puffed on it the next morning. Thanks to a great BOTL.
Vegas Robaina Famosos. Excellente!:smiley20:
Olor fuerte maduro Not bad
Gurkha Triple Ligero during golf today
Padron 3000 (Maduro) yesterday
Today it'll be a RyJ Churchill
my god, it was so good. Enjoyed this guy last night.
I bought a new fire pit, got a roaring flame going, and my buddy arrives with two of these (one for him, one for me). Sat back, relaxed and enjoyed while killing a 4 pack of Guinness full pints. Good times.
Later on last night i also enjoyed a La Gloria Cubana that i had nestled in my humidor.
Carlos Toraño 50yr robusto
RP v 92 Robusto
awesome as always
Got invited to a cigar night at my favorite B&M and went (last night).
Turns out Camacho cigars have not been available in Canada and they are now finally being brought in here. My B&M's supplier from Montreal came down with a rep from Camacho and we had a Montreal smoked meat dinner and:
- Camacho Corjo Machitos (before dinner)
- Camacho Corjo Churchill or Robusto (after dinner)
I had the Churchill Corjo after supper and liked it so much I brought one home with me. The dinner was great, the cigars better and the cost was 0 All in all, an excellent evening and well worth the 4 hours of driving I had to do to attend it.
