Never smoke one first thing in the morning with out eating "it kicked my but"
Illusione 88 Candela - Not what I expected, in a good way.
Last night after dinner enjoyed a Excalibur Epicure Maduro for a 1hr and 15 min smoke..tonight I think I will go with a CAO MX2:smiley16:
It was quite good. Had the dept and spice of a normal Illisione, but a " I don't know how else to say it" GREEN aftertaste. much like a Cuvee Blanc or Adrians.
A hay or grass sort of taste left in the mouth after exhale. I don't think I would smoke them on a weekly basis, but I would reach for one now and again when I craved something different.
I don't know, no matter how much I like Illusiones, I really can't see my self trying a Candela cigar. I just can't get past the green wrapper. :smiley11:
I hear you, It's not a "bright" green as some of the Candela shit sticks I've seen. I bought two just to buy them. I bought two of the Slams at the same time. I have this deep dark addiction when something new comes out my addictions sit on my shoulder and screams " BUY - BUY - BUY - BUY ".
Had my first AF Anejo! I had the corona size one and punched it. I nearly pitched it 1/2 way into it because the amount of tar was crazy, it was extremely bitter. Thought better of it and cut it, after that it smoked like a champ. No more punch on the Anejo for me!
Final Blend Churchill - Very good for the price.
Para Ti Canonazos - Outstanding !! Absolutly top notch :smiley4:

EO No. 21 w/ coffee. Oh, how I love these things:smiley20:
Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Criollo Robusto (5 x 54)
Smoked it on the disc golf course. Lasted exactly 18 holes, though I was risking burning my fingers and inhaling ash on the last few puffs.
The 10th Anni's have the easiest draw of the dozen or so cigars I've tried. The criollo wrapper had a nice spiciness that lingered on the tongue without getting bitter, right down to the sub-nub.
Camacho Triple maduro, in 50/4.5. All honduran maduro... fill, binder, wrapper, hence the triple maduro name... Packs a mean punch, but nice.
Thanks slcraiders!:smiley20: (I couldn't wait to try that one... the rest of the mix are acclimating in the humi for a bit...):smiley9:
AB Maxx - My introduction to this line. Not bad at all, Thanks Sarge. :smiley20:
