My last Angel 100 Torpedo
pathetic_joe...wow nice one there. You know what there guy if we took the your brain and increased it's size by 1,000 then stuffed it up a gnat's ass it would still roll around like a bb in a box car.
I'm just thinking that for a guy who came here and complained about money woes and then participated in a PIF with cigars that didn't meet the value requirements, it might be colossally stupid to then post that you are smoking a cigar that retails for $15. You sir are an enormous douchebag.
On to the today's smokes... while I did not smoke a cigar I did smoke a 3 pound pork roast.
Mmmmmh pig... The most tastiest of all meats...
Easter smoke, just a flor de oliva gold.
Can we pretty please ban this dickhole already?
Just tried my first Acid Atom Maduro....
All I can say is it was interesting. Thing is, it was interesting enough that I might get a box just to have around.
Just had an Acid Atom Maduro with Hannibal. Not to bad (dont have alot to compare it to), I think i may have to snag a small humidor and keep a few on hand when I want something different.
Pictures or it did not happen. HAHA I figured Id try them my self and see if they were worth the $$. I dont think it was worth 8 bucks a stick but I think if i found some for the right price id snag them. Wifey has my budget cut off so I have to take my taste testing slow.......
Just so you know.... DO NOT Google Image Search Stapled Balls on Burning Log Its totally NSFW. :smiley37:
Thanks for the heads up...to think how close I was to searching for that. :smiley36:
I've said it before but it still holds, the only time I have ever had an Acid was the Kuba Kuba. Myself and 2 other friends decided to try one because we talked a lot of shit about flavored smokes and felt stupid to have such a bad opinion of them without actually sampling one. Our opinion was reinforced as each one of us made it about a 1/2 inch into it and were so disgusted we chucked them in the yard and just plain felt nasty enough that we decided not to even try our backup gars and just went home. Shortest cigar night on record.
I was at a cigar shop here in Las Vegas and ran into a couple nice guys smoking there and they suggested this cigar. (Gran Habano Corojo #5) so I thought i'd grab one to try. I sat down for a smoke on the back patio last night and lit it up.
Maybe it is just me, i'm not one to review much due to me being so new to cigars, but this wasn't a very good cigar to me. I tried to give it a chance though. My wife was with me and she commented that it didn't smell good to the others I've smoked.
It wasn't the cigar for me. Then I had a thought. Do you think the guys at the shop were pulling a joke on me? Give the new guy a turd to smoke.
Anyone have experience with this cigar? Is it bad or just me?
Plagiarist...

Eight bucks a stick? A lot of that is going to Drew Estate's very successful marketing. Since your budget is cut, use your limited cash to explore as many different cigars as you can.
It can be overwhelming looking at what's out there. Maybe save up for the newbie sampler?
I'm still thinking about doing it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of telling my wife after a big order several months ago that I had a few years-worth of cigars at my pace. So, I have to be very intentional on cigar purchases for the time being. Don't regret anything purchased, but wish I'd used some of that dough on the newbie sampler instead of a few of the fivers, in order to get a wider sampling of what's out there. I'm going to look into it again later this spring or in the summer.
Padron 3000.
Had a Padron 2000 maduro, OTT from denver24's contest package.:smiley37:
Thanks,
Will
Toscano Antica Tradizione - Talk about full bodied. Make sure you have a full stomach for this one.
Jamie's right. I think soon, I'm going to start keeping a Paddy list.
I looked up those Italian smokes after you posted. It said something about fire cured, or flame cured like I'm imagining some kiln.
How'd they taste besides strong? I have a feeling they wouldn't be up my alley.
Will
Got a link? The only one I found was $20 for 2.
My Wish List has been modified to "whatever Paddy is smoking". Seriously, where do you find this stuff? It does provide good fodder for potential future box splits.
Tried my first El Cobre this morning and nubbed the shit out of it!! :smiley20:
