Gurkha Class Regent Torpedo
One of my favorite cigars! Unfortunately, it was burning really hot and harsh the last inch and a half. Didn't get to nub it, but enjoyed it non-the-less.
Yesterday I smoked 3 of varying results
Bolivar Petit Corona, one of my favorites
Baccarat Robusto, not a usual selection for me but my palate has been a bit overwhelmed lately
Oliva O Classic, in my humidor since 2003 the first 2/3 was remarkable the last 1/3 left alot to be desired

I had a Padilla Miami 8&11 corona. Was decent, I will most definitely revist em in a few months.
A Zino platinum low rider, nothing memorable, mild-medium, not bad for a $1 cigar
Today I had:
The new Nub Connecticut, I don't believe that I will revisit this particular stick
Cuesta Rey Centenario 60 Maduro, I had not had one of these in some time and it was a very solid smoke.
Perdomo Fresco Maduro with about 7 months on it, much better than when I bought it

Is the Nub just marketing hype? I still have not tried one, maybe I never will.
From my point of view it is, I have smoked both varities and they do not suit me. I found them both to be bitter most of the way through almost like they were rushed to the box or something. I do give the Cameroon version more points than the Connecticut however. Maybe with some age they will improve, I still have some banging around the Humi so maybe in 6 mos. or so I will give another one a shot.Quote:
