OK. Cool. I think I will stop by if it works out. If I miss this one they do them monthly.

Welcome to the board and any friend of the sad clown should do well here. :smiley2:
Nice intro, and another welcome from PA
Welcome to the boards! I am over on HBT as well, as KillerKellers.. there are a few others here as well.
Thanks for the great intro post. Obviously someone read the first rule: read more, post less.
I just can't understand why some can't follow it especially since it's so short and easily understood :smiley36::smiley36::smiley36:
Lots to learn here, and a great group of folks, too.
Herr Boerderij_Kabouter, Willkommen aus Deutschland!
Nice intro. Most of the herfs that I've been to are just kick back and relax. If you are new there, you may feel out of place. Grab a smoke sit back and just relax. Before you know it, you are having a conversation enjoying the company and your cigar.
Since I've been traveling back to the states, I try and stop in at the local B&M's to sit and have a smoke. I've never felt out of place at any of them and I always leave meeting a few more friends. Welcome to the wonderful world of cigars! :smiley37:

Welcome from MA.
Aww man. I came into this thread expecting to find some foreign scammer/spammer to rip on. I am thoroughly disappointed. Welcome from IN then.
Welcome from NC.:smiley4:
Welcome from Austin, TX.
The Newbie Sampler is your friend. I am hoping a newbie like me can do it again! I will have to check the rules and see. :smiley37:
I have new "staples" in the humidor as a direct result of the sampler that sammis sent me.
Have fun.
Donald
Actually I have to agree with you, I love the MH #9, unfortunately it goes for over $15 a 6 pack down here in Florida. I miss living in NY for the beer alone, a 6 pack of Labatt Blue is over $12 now!!!
And now you may start with the "You're a Canadian" jokes...
I love the Blue as well. Unfortunately, it's around $11 here. I love it that Labatt is the Canadian Natty Lite, yet we here in America still treat it like some exotic import.
At least you guys get Stone beer. No Stone here. We have tons of Abita, and that's about it.
Just wanted to let you guys know I picked up a CAO Brazilia from your recommendations. It turns out my wife is not so open to my regular cigar smoking as the initial screening indicated. We'll see how that goes. Anyway, I am still planning on setting up a coolidor and getting some good sticks in it.
I can't wait for a spot of good weather to smoke my first CAO.
Cheers
I liked this cigar. I do not really know much yet and don't feel comfortable spouting my nonsense on the general boards yet, so if you all don't mind and may just mumble on in this thread until I get my bearings.
This cigar was a bit more robust than my typical smoke. It burned nicely and the torpedo (can't remember the stylish name they gave it) was a nice size. I puffed slowly while working in my brewery and it was quite enjoyable; lasted maybe an hour and 20 minutes. I tried the "purge" thing where you blow through the cigar for the first time and it really made the last 1/3 of the cigar MUCH more enjoyable. That was a great thing to learn!
The cigar seemed spicy (???) to me with nice notes of some kind of sweetness, maybe a molasses-ish flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
On another note, I finally figured out how to blow smoke rings and entertained myself by practicing my new found skill.
Prost!:smiley20:
welcome to Cigarsmokers.com by way of Utah!
I was never a big fan of those. I just happen to smoke one today. Prior to today, I don't think I'd smoked one in the past four years or so. I dislike them now just as much as I ever did.
Anyway, welcome to the board. Nobody here likes ChefChris (LMAO!).:smiley36:
A bit late to the party here but welcome to the forum.
