Fuck man, empty out your humidor. Smell your humidor. Does it smell like what you're tasting? If it does, stick your cigars in a cooler or tupperware and send the humidor back, or put it on craigslist.

Hmm, I dunno. It looks like Badwhale and Craig offered some great advice.
If I was having the same issue, I would put some cigars in a tupperware with a piece of damp sponge. Place some cigars in there...wait a few days or a week... Then smoke one and see how it tastes. I'ld keep a couple in my glass jar humidor too, and add those to the taste test.
Take it as my opinion. The 5 packs are not the same quality as a full box of the same brand. Cigars International is famous fro buying a brand and becoming the exclusive distributor since they are actually reblended in a bad way. CISSB=Cigatrs International Special Shitty Blend
Whats your humidity if you think humidity is the problem?
Edit: Is it a strong cedar smell or glue that your smelling?
I nearly forgot the main reason I came here. To get rid of the stench sand the interior cedar, this will get rid of the outer smell and give it a nice smooth look as well. Now to remove the excess smell place crumbled newspaper in your humidor and a good amount of baking soda that is not touching the cedar, may ruin it. I suggest in a small container or hell a custom made container made of newspaper would work fine. ;)
Leave it a couple days, replace if needed. Give it up to a week
Anyone ever raise their own tobacco to roll into cigars?

That was 2010's crop. I was more ambitious in 11, but harvested nothing. Like Mark said though, there is lots more on here.
I thought moecizlak was just demonstrating the proper way to threadjack.:smiley36:
