I figure it's just a box. So I'm just going to build a box with dovetail joints using my Incra jig. I've done jewelry boxes before so it shouldn't be too complex.Quote:

Getting boxes to latch tight can kinda be a pain in the butt. I usually start 1/16th smaller than the inside diameter should be and start chiseling/sanding it down from there little by little till it just fits, and then give it the final sanding.
I can't wait to see how this turns out for you. Seems like a great idea, but Im glad someone else will try it first hehe. Let us know how it goes.
