Really? US customs would give you a hard time? Geeze. So when you went last, they didn't stamp your passport?

The FBI isn't going to go through the flight records of another country. You are super paranoid Cigargirl.... Tons of Americans travel to Cuba every day...
No, they don't stamp anyone's passport, not even mine.
Hmmm, stop giving me evil ideas. I may have catch a ride up to Canada.
I can jumpseat on most airlines. I've never tried to jumpseat outside of the U.S. though. I wonder if I could pull this off for free? I may have to hitch a ride up to Toronto and give it a shot.
Are you a pilot? Though I doubt it woudl work since most of the airlines that fly into cuba cannot fly into the US thus they are tiny brands like Sun Wing air.
Cuban authorities do not stamp passports, they stamp a sheet of paper they staple into your passport. US credit cards do not work, and USD are at a 10% discredit. You need to change USD into CanD before heading down there. They love americans down there and I cannot understand why there is a trade embargo, since after the missle crisis and before Kennedy's assassination he was already negotiating a lift of it.
No I'm not a pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. Fortunately, I get a lot of the same interline benefits as pilots. I'll have to check with some pilot buddies that I'm sure have some tips. I know Air Canada flies down there, that's the only one I've checked so far.
my guess is......if you get stranded down in cuba...ie thrown in jail the USA will not help to get you set free. You will be at the mercy of their court systems. Also, if you get sick, get you arm lopped off, or whatever american health insurance will not cover any future or past illness or bills. To me it isnt worth it. They will eventually lift the embargo and it will be the new Las Vegas. The easiest way to get to cuba is to become a terrorist threat. Then you can join club gitmo!
And I'm going to stick up for tampa, I bet the government knows who goes down there.
