Wasn't me this time GG. :smiley1:

WTF is a Fark? :smiley40:
Yeah, it is funny.
To the person who noticed that I posted after saying I'd be leaving, you were right, I'm back.
I don't really know what to believe. I would like to become an active member on a legitimate cigar forum, but I can't tell if this is just a big laugh, or if the majority of the posters in this thread are being serious.
Ggiese, I see you posted things about this being a joking matter, but are you joking when saying that? I can't tell- it's the internet.
I think you should stay. I can't speak for others, so you'll have to find out if they're joking for yourself. As for me, I assure you that I'm chuckling.
Making a duplicate account is against the forum rules and you'd just get banned, so that wouldn't be a good idea.
I stand by my previous statement
Multiple accounts are against board reg's, and if you are caught, both accounts will be banned.
We can't see you. In fact, all we can see is the words you type. Therefore, you need to put on your best face and make sure your posts are grammatically correct before you hit the send button. Some people might not like it, but it is more important for a newb to get shit right than for a FOG.
Also, you fucked up with your wording on post number 1...you said yourself "I can't tell; this is the internet" Well, I don't think you were being snarky or condescending or rude on your first post, but obviously I read it differently than other members, and looing back on it I can see why. It looked to me like you were trying to avoid the shit storm you caused because, well, this is the internet and sometimes people don't get the point your trying to play.
But what it really comes down to is how you're going to handle it from here. You might want to go with a big fat "I'm sorry, I never meant to tell anyone what to do, that was never my implication, I deserve to catch a beating and I will come through this a better man" or something along those lines...and this isn't a c/p issue.
You need to think about shit and decide for yourself how you'll proceed. And in the meantime, take Shelby's advice...go smoke a fucking cigar and decide if it's something you want to get into before you become an active member of the board.
Hell and i ran the spell checker on that.
I agree with hefty. Apologize to the board and start a clean slate. Think before you post, search before you post, and I guarantee you'll get the best out of this hobby. But definitely smoke cigars since nobody can tell you what you'll like.
Think of these 2 things:
1. It takes a bigger man to admit they made a mistake and apologize for it.
2. You'll get out of this place as much as you put into it.
i need to get one of them voice to typing things.
And Frank thinks he is being singled out :smiley8:
I realize that I've rubbed some people the wrong way, and that I messed up in my first few days.
Legitimate Question: would it be better to submit an apology in this tattered thread? Or start a new one?
You appeared to melt down, but maybe you have split personalities because you seem to be less melted now - like Jello or something... if I were you I would apologize for overreacting and telling Kevin to shove it (which was a horrible idea, by the way), then take a nice break from posting and heed the "read more, post less" advice. Go read other newbie's meltdowns - they show you exactly how NOT to handle yourself on this board, and they are quite entertaining too.
Just like this one was... fart and bark - ha, I am still chuckling about that one Roger!

Well, I thought I'd ask because the users here seem to have a lot of pet-peeved, and I didn't know if one or the other would result in a second round of this.
I didn't realize that would also rub someone the wrong way...
I'm not. Christ, so many users were just so pissed off that I thought I'd try not to piss anyone off after this event. Apparently, that kind of thing angers you though.
Also, I really don't think you can judge someones social ability through the Internet, but I'd be interested to hear your theories should they be published.
I'm not pissed in the slightest, and have actually been nice to this point.
Indeed I think a persons social ability can be judged by their actions on the interweb. Where else is a person judged solely on what they say (type) and how they interact with others without the bias of class, looks, color, race, and all that other shit. I would venture to say that social skills are more fairly judged in this manner.
