Agreed. The U.S. has made it through to the knockout round, but if they squander too many opportunities for goals like they did today, it might be a quick exit.
Nelson's link helped. I was trying to listen to ESPN radio and watch it via Nelson's link, but the delay between the two was like 20 seconds (in Nelson's link's favor).

Yea. But the offense looks good, at least they're getting chances and the defense looked better this game (Onyewu was a liability and had to sit). I'm excited and the if they play the way they can and finish more often, they could have a reasonable path to the Semi's. Always the optimist...Quote:

Paraguay looked really good today. I guess I haven't been paying attention to Japan. That was harder that I thought, but Paraguay has impressed me again. They are my favorite team in this cup.

I have a feeling this is Holland's year. Well, I'm rooting for them anyway. Since I am of Dutch ancestry. And they deserve it after all these years of coming so close but never getting the cup.

Just amazing. I had to record both games cause I had a busy day on saturday due to some family obligations and a friends wedding. Luckily it was not spoiled for me and I got back home to watch both games back to back.

And ESPAÑA takes it! Amazing game. The refs did a poor job. At least 2 of the Netherlands players should have been thrown out of the game, and Spain deserved a penalty kick.

That was a fund world cup to watch. I have to say I was quite bored with the final though. Too much sloppy and wreckless play and the Dutch seemed content to sit and pray for PK's (while choking on the chances they did have).
