Nobody voted for the venerable magnifying glass. I used to use it for killing little helpless bugs when I was a kid, and hell....why not use it for lighting cigars...never have to worry about running out of butane. :smiley4:

Torch is the preferred method because it's reliable in all kinds of outdoor conditions and quick. The high temperature does lend a "charry" taste to the first few puffs, which is why many prefer a regular flame.
Torch for sure. The longer I use mine the easier it is to master.:smiley1:
