Well, we've pretty much always had an attitude here that what happens on other sites is relevant here. Since I'm the only one here who post regularly on CigarRebellion, I thought what barry did on that site was indeed relevant here because if I didn't point it out, almost all the other members here would have never known. The next thing they would say is "Why do you find barry so objectionable?" because it's not like there aren't people here who think this whole shit storm is ALL because of me and barry is just some poor little innocent victim here.
I'll tell ya, if someone from this site who was suspended from here for a week or two started trouble on BOLT or BananaLand carrying his fight to another site, I'd sure want to know about it. Since I'm banned from those two shitholes, I can't read those boards but again, I'd sure want to know and would encourage someone who had knowledge of it to report it here.
It was the same exact situation with Oblik, Scroto, PuroMooch and MANY others that have come here. In those cases, their actions on other boards was EXTREMELY relevant in CigarSmokers. Hell even BananaLand has now come around on that position. Bill, my point is that we are trying to move on and recover from the right/left back/forth argumentation caused by the elections. I have asked people on all sides to back away and let things settle down. Continuing this discussion is not helping the situation at all.
I’m not sure how else to put it other then start taking more aggressive actions.
I do think I owe the board an apology. It's been very difficult the past few weeks work wise and I think I let things get a little too far out of control by not being as involved as I would like to be.

Bill - I do you have a point. However in this situation Hex has made his opinion perfectly clear and He as also publically stated what his next steps are.
Hex has been very fair and even-handed in his approach. I don't think cigarsmokers has anything to worry about with Barry. One more of his "posts" and he is gone.
At this point you have laid out the relevant history clearly and anyone on this forum who wants to educate themselves certainly can do it here.
For what it's worth, I'm in agreement with Hex and fully support his position on this.
And not to slight you or your opinion in any way, I think this should be left to die.
Bill - a thief is a thief. There is no change despite the fact they've been caught and punished. No matter how straight they act after returning, there's going to be trust issues for quite some time.
If/when Barry returns he will have to curb his nastiness. There's absolutely no doubt about that. Maybe he'll be able to - maybe not. No matter what - I don't see him being your best friend afterwards. And that's okay - he doesn't have to be.
But - Hex has made it very clear he will be intolerant of continued nastiness. No doubt in my mind, Miguel is very serious about that. So I believe we should wait and see what Barry does when/if he returns. In the mean time - let's get back to enjoying the peace and quiet we have for at least the time being...:smiley2:
