Just had my first Casa Magna and I nubbed it. I mean I loved it. Also, I nubbed it.
LFD ~ Limitado IV
after the casa magna i have experienced an unidentifiable Fuente and then some sort of EPC. It's all been just fantastic. A great night of drinks and smokes and chats in east Tennessee. Go Vols tomorrow imo. Good night cigarsmokers.com.
Tonight I had almost an hour to kill on my way home, before my train rolled into Union Station, Portland. Outside, a surprisingly-nice smoking area awaited; complementing the perfectly clear, warm, and windless night; topped with a bright and full moon.
While not the most delicious maduro I've had, I thoroughly enjoyed the easy draw, smooth sweetness, and thick smoke of my Perdomo Patriarch Maduro Robusto. I only wish I had another hour, as the burn could barely singe its ample label. It's times like this, when I'd otherwise likely be bored, that I often most enjoy the company of a relaxing stick.

From the 2012 Spring draft put by PJ. Thanks bro!

Taboo Twist......I'm grateful I don't know how much I paid for this and even more grateful that I only had this one in the humi. :smiley11:
Last night was a Viaje Reserva Jar.

Gurkha Vulcan Toro - Very interesting but I couldn't pick a distinct flavor. There was a constant slight natural sweetness. It was a very tight stick and I was tempted to poke it, but resisted. Burned strangely after an inch or so, but corrected by the half way mark. Characteristic long holding ash of the brand. It was the second smoke of the day-not sure what the first crappy one was, so it might not have been a great test opportunity. Still have a few more and may try them again. Not a bad smoke, just not sure how good they are.
La Sirena Sea Sprite. I really enjoyed this smoke and will have more.
Monday - A Victor Sinclair Bohemian
Today - Cu-Avana
Both Robustos
...funny, I had a strange craving for pizza after smoking these...
Snuck in a Kristoff Maduro Corona last evening.

Thanks!!!
Berger & Argenti Entubar corona macho. Looked like a gimick to me with the big yellow caution band at the bottom and a nub sticking out. For some reason it made my wife think about the scene in Hangover II with the monkey and the asian guy. :smiley36:
Smoked very well though, and tasted good. Pretty neat story behind the Entubar rolling technique too. Thank you.
Well that explained a lot. Im ready to try mine now . Thanks
I smoked one and gifted another to my father-in-law.
We both enjoyed it after a good country style steak breakfast.
An Opus is better smoked with good company.

The past week on a trip to Maine:
Padilla Fuma (older version-selection de Barato)
Casa Blanca Deluxe toro -natural/CT---mild and somewhat disappointing
Gurkha empire IV- need to buy & try another
Gurkha Titan II supertoro
Gurkha Vulcan toro--second try-more to come
Pinar Del Rio Capa Natural toro(54 ring?)- pretty good smoke
Weather was not good enough to smoke many more.
La Aurora 1495 corona
Yesterday- Gurkha Havana Blend Robusto
Today- Gurkha Sherpa toro
Aurora Escogidos Torpedo
Then some yard work.
Was a great smoke, thanks go Cabaiguan Juan.
Para Japon paired with a bottle of Strawman Farmhouse Hard Cider
A Conuco Toro for breakfast at 0500.
And a Gurkha Titan XO this afternoon.
Shoulda reversed the order. The Conuco was more full bodied than the Gurkha. By the name and look of the Gurkha, I thought it would be fairly full bodied, but it was actually pretty mild. Very enjoyable, though. Don't think I'll become a big fan of the 60 ring gauge.
Partagas Black Label Pronto. Good little smoke imo; very unique aroma and flavor.
Pinar Del Rio exclusivo reserva limitada toro. A strange smoke, it started out very mild with little or no flavor and burned very unevenly. About half way down a natural sweetness appeared along with more flavor, the burn evened out somewhat with 1/3 left and then it got milder again.
Then it tunneled out. Good enough so that I'll have to try another and hopefully this one was rolled by a novice. I've had a couple of the reserva limatada slection 10 and they were clearly better.
Marlboro light . I bummed 1 today and re affirmed my decision to quit cigs 12 or so years ago. It was fucking nasty and I got busted by one of the office women when I walked by her. I got a lecture and a shaming
Something I read or said around the weekend got me thinking about 2 boxes of cigars I had deep in one of my tubadors. so I dug out a box and opened it for today's second smoke.
First cigar was a Padilla torpedo fuma (the newish ones) - it was my second and it was worst than the first-definite crap- 2 of 2 so far.
Second was the long ignored - Jose Marti La Trinidad Masaya Figurado (nicaragua) - Started out very mild then 1/2 inch in got a creamy sweetness that remained throughout the smoke, burned nicely and reminded me why I bought 3 boxes of them (they were also soon going to bundles). Only 49 left.:smiley6:
Getting ready to have a Partagas Serie D No. 4 and a cup of coffee

A La Vieja Habana Connecticutt Belicoso with coffee this morning. And a Bahia Blu Torpedo this afternoon.
Nubbed 'em both.
Davidoff Gran Cru #3
Davidoff Anniversario #3
Firing up a Trinidad with my morning coffee.
A Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto with AM coffee.
La Vieja Habana Belicoso for lunch. These seem priced like a bundle cigar and I know they're DE, but this make two for me and I have really liked both. Am I regressing back toward Thompson's?
