I am having one of my new Padron coolidore residents this morning. A maduro lonsdale with black coffee. This is the first one of these I have had and so far I am really glad that I got so many. This may be the Saturday morning go to smoke for as long as they hold out. I may have to get a whole box next time.
Starting the day with a Xen.
I have smoked a few of them and have not been disappointed yet.
They start out kind of spicy, Good early mooring cigar with coffee.
Smoked a Gurkha Seduction in I think Gordito. It was around 60 ring gauge and about 6" long. I have had it for about 4 months in the humidor. Burn was magnificent razor sharp but there was no flavor hardly at all. Great smoke output not sure why it was so mild.
Ortega Serie D No. 12 Maduro - extremely nice Maduro. Creamier than a Padron, but similar. Excellent. Made by the Garcia"s
Enjoyed a Nat Sherman Timeless Nicaraguan 660 last night. :smiley20: Very good smoke, do recommend.

Toscano Classico Vintage. Not my usual Toscano cigar, been a couple of months since i last smoked it. Its on promotion so i decided to buy :smiley4: still taste pretty good.
Punch Royal (RE Benelux 2009) on Canada Day. Four years old and relatively underwhelming except for a couple draws. These might need a decade to be really good, or not. Punch isn't sold in Canada, so this was my first experience with the brand. Seems vaguely similar to H. Upmann, in that there is a 'woodiness' and tea notes to the taste. Not my usual cup of tea, but maybe in a few years...
JLP Cazadores today. My least favourite JLP. At five+ years, still a straightforward and unrefined smoke. (Blend? There's no stinkin' blend here, just stalk-cut Remedios tobacco.) However, at about 15% the cost of the Punch, one can't really complain...
Padron 3000M with a Sam Adams Summer Ale while burgers cook.
Sorry, I didn't specify that I was referring to the ISOM version :-).
There were some Cuban Punch available in Canada about two years ago, but those could have been grey market.
Enjoyed a nice Undercrown Toro last night. This morning was a Diesel UC.
After burgers last night I had a Johnny O from a bundle I bought last July. Right at a year where I hear these begin to get really good. There was some spice off and on in the smoke that I have not experienced with the others so far. The draw is a bit easier now also, the first few I had were real tight. It was a good smooth smoke.
Padron Londres M with black coffee this morning. Such a great combo to start a day.

Cohiba Siglo VI. My last one. In about an hour and a half I will be :(
Today was my late friend Nate's birthday,he has been dead 2 1/2 years so I smoked an Oliva in his memory. I sorley miss him
Sorry to hear of such a loss.
I enjoy cigars and the time it gives me to relax and reflect. I always light one thinking it's all about the cigar itself, only to finish it realizing the cigar itself isn't enough. It's really that time to relax and reflect and the community of it that I actually love. I try to get my friends to smoke as often as I can so I can share the great experience with them, though I don't think they really get it. And though I don't know any of you here personally I thoroughly enjoy sharing my experiences with you, and hope I can meet you all someday. Thank you all for putting up with all my silly B.S. and letting me be a part of this community.
I hope all in the US have had a great 4th of July and all living elsewhere have had a great random Thursday in July.
As I finish up that Siglo VI I am not as sad it was my last as I am glad that I found this place to share this joyous part of my life with.
Thanks again to all the great humans here.
I'm actually a robot, but I get your point.:smiley20:
I had a Padron '26 Maduro ~ #35 today; Padron 3000M while setting off lots and lots of illegal fire works off. Also, we smoked 24 chops, and about 30 trout fillets.:smiley4:
