La Aroma de Cuba Immensa - Garcia smoke made for Ashton/Holt's. Some might enjoy it, but I'd rather have something else.
Oliva Master Blends 3
Padron '26 Natural ~ 35

Hey guys new to the site, new to forums but here is a pic of today's smoke.

RyJ #4 with coffee while I get my Saturday yard work started.
VR Clasicos - either declining or needing a few more years ... not sure which.
Ashton VSG Corona Gorda - nicely calmed down after a three years. (Ligero lovers might disagree.) Sun grown wrapper from Ecuador gives a unique spicy accent that makes for an interesting change from my usual smokes.
Yesterday was a Siglo IV and an Inch by E.P Carillo.
Enjoyed a Diesel UC this morning with black coffee. Right now lovin a 5 Vegas Miami with some sweetened coffee. Great day, even got the yard mowed. lol

Friday:
San Cristobal Elegancia
Got that in trade from a BOTL - thanks, I enjoyed it!
Saturday:
AF Flor Fina 8-5-8 Natural
Sunday:
Padron Lonsdale Natural (with the darker wrapper)
Bolivar Petit Corona 1998, nothing special...:smiley6:
Por Larraņaga Petit Corona 2008, nothing special ... just the usual awesomeness ;-).
Davidoff Nicaragua Toro. My shop just got them in today. Great cigar!:smiley20:
Last night: Old Henry Gold Robusto
Tonight: AF Flor Fina 8-5-8 Natural that I received in a trade with a BOTL here. Really like this cigar!
Just finished smoking a batch of Salmon and now enjoying a Padron 4000
It is a Canadian secret, but rye is involved ;-).
HDM Epicure #1 - man, these are nice mild & tasty cigars.
Actually it's Forty Creek whiskey. It's a blend made here in Ontario. If my wife and I ever stopped drinking it, I'm sure the company would go bankrupt 😊
I personally am still drinking 100% Rye - I have a few bottles of Alberta Premium 25 year old to go through. However, I wouldn't use it to light salmon.
Besides Alberta Premium (regular 5 year old) and maybe a couple others, there are no 100% Ryes left.
Forty Creek is a nice blend. IIRC, the regular blend is rye, corn, and barley.
In any case - at least when I buy champagne - it really is ;-).
I personally favor Templeton's - 90% rye grain, 10% malted barley grain. Very nice stuff... :smiley2:
And I ain't using it to light my salmon!!!
Yep, this is some very nice stuff! I have a bottle on the shelf. They don't distribute in my state, so I had to con the boss into bringing some back from a business trip for me. For some reason I always think of parking garages and finely aged tubos when I pull it from the shelf. :smiley2: :smiley37:
ETA: Oh, yeah, I smoked a party short for breakfast this morning.
Padron 3000M
Templeton - sounds interesting! There are only a handful of American Ryes available here - unfortunately, Templeton isn't one of them.
JLP Conservas - uncomplicated, just sweet well-aged tobacco.
Padron '64 Pyramide Natural. Well I must say I was not very impressed. Much cheaper cigars out there that are better to me. Oh well maybe I need to develop my palate a little more or try the Maduro next time.
I like the Padron '26's much better than the 64's. and have to say I like the Padron 1000 series more Han the 64's - so I don't think you're crazy, Frank.
But - I had me one of those Padron '26 #35's this evening. What a great cigar!
...and I supported my local B&M by slightly overpaying - but not a bad deal to pay for a very nice shop with overstuffed leather chairs and good company! :smiley20:
Since George hasn't fixed the clock, I don't know if these qualify as "Today's smokes" but I smoked a:
Davidoff Double R on the way to the Jersey Shore on Thursday night and a
Davidoff Nicaragua petit corona on the way home Friday morning.
Celebrating the sale of my house and a new job by smoking the Padron 1926 80 Years I received from my 2011 Secret Santa.
Friday night: Bolivar PC - this was a fresh one and the most full bodied CC I have had so far. It was very good.
Today: Padron Londres Maduro for breakfast
HdM Epi #1 - Sunday morning read the (virtual) paper with coffee cigar.
Oliva V Beli - I had a dozen left in the box, and they were going to be the first up in my "cigars that I don't smoke" sell-off. However, I tried one tonight after supper, and, geez, I think that I will keep them now.
VMark - Congratulations! :-)
BowHH: I have found that 64's (and '26*s to some extent) don't really age that well. Regular series seem to settle down (I think) with a couple years, but the '64's that I have sat on have been disappointments given the cost.
ETA: Mind you, I smoked a 2-year-old (Padron dates their boxes) Londres Maduro last night and it didnt have the taste that Padron's have new, nor the usual two-year old taste. It appears that Min Ron Nee math (3 years in a display box = 5 years in a 'sealed' box) applies to x000's as well.
Camacho SLR Toro...........nice flavors.
