Padron 3000 Maduro :smiley20:
I don't normally like maduro, but this one is very well done...tks...
A fresh Johnny O short for me today while cleaning the garage out. Great smoke.
For me today was another El Titan de bronze. When I opened the humi it just jumped out. Going to have to get more very soon. My buddy has had 2 of them.
Padron A Maduro
My Father Le Bijou 22 something or other corona gorda
FYI: cold cigars (these were in the basement at about 40 degrees) don't smoke as well as normal.
Second one today in my newly cleaned out garage - aka winter smoking room, Headley Grange Drumstick. This is my second one from this line, and if you have not had one I very much recommend it. The first one I had was closer to a corona, this one is the lancero. Nice syrupy sweet, smooth flavor with just the right amount of spice. I think I'll be stocking up on these soon.
And yes, of course I'm rocking some Led Zeppelin while smoking this.
Penny Lane is enjoying this evening with me too.

I'm reviewing an Oliva 'O' blue Cloth band I got in a trade:smiley16:
This thing is great. The Eagles are going good with this.
Oh yeah, Molly is down here too, chillin. I put her through the wringer today throwing ball in the bitter cold. She's finally relaxing.
Just fired up a short story. I really like these tasty little cigars.
DE Liga Privada T52 beli while watching the 1st half of the Green Bay / San Fran game in the garage. Damn good smoke! Pretty good game so far too.
10" of snow supposed to have -35 wind chill tonight. So I am enjoying an Undercrown Robusto. Next couple of days are gonna be rough.

New to me the Raices 1941. So far a nice smooth well constructed cigar. Started off mild but building. I'm very satisfied so far
Had to enjoy the crappy weather somehow so I done it with a Anejo 48. Wow these things are good.

Another Partagas Short, and in no way is that a bad thing.

Well I had my first AF Short Story.....very bad construction. Did not burn well at all. Flavors were nice but overall was unenjoyable. Maybe one day I will give another one a try. Maybe it was just the way the local B&M kept it?????

2 weeks in my humidor. One side burnt faster than the other, actually just a 4mm strip burnt real fast. May have been a stem or something. Not sure. I was very disappointed in it. The draw was a bit tight but I have dealt with that on many cigars. Hopefully just a fluke, I will be looking for another from another vendor soon.
I smoke a LOT of Hemingway's and I cannot think of a time I ever had that experience. Very strange.
I have found many cigar shops either tend to overhumidify or that cigars are perhaps being shipped to them "wet". I always leave new cigars in my humidor for at least a month or two to stabilize. I don't even touch Opus X's for at least 6 months since they all seemed to be rather wet when I buy them. Since I started doing that - I've noticed my "issues" have substantially disappeared...
I bet he'd have no problem if that sucker was rolled by a machine.:smiley14:
Partagas Chicos. Nice little machine-made smoke (after it sat for quite a few years).
H Upmann ~ Royal Robusto (I think.)
Thanks Santa!!!
LFD Double Ligero Chisel after lunch.
Had to go to the big city yesterday so I met up with my younger brother at our favorite B&M and I had the following:
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Toro
DPG blue label ~ Robusto
Partagas Short
Padron lonsdale maduro with coffee.
Going to visit my hunting partner and good friend Greg to work on my whitetail's antlers (need to get them on the wall) and my new rifle.
I'm planning on having a H. Uppman Magnum 48 while I'm there. If he's lucky, I'll bring him a Padron 3000 Robusto :smiley36:
Vegas Robaina Famosos. :smiley20:
Torano Salutem in Toro I believe. Loved the first one hopefully this one is just as good. I let this one rest for a couple of weeks.

About to fire up an AF Shark to watch the 2nd playoff game.
PSP#2 Friday night.
La Casita Criolla and Party Short Saturday.
MC #5 JUN 10 - While the Trini Reyes and ERdM Lunch Club remain my favourites in this (approximate) size, these #5's are challenging the Party Short as a go-to. I am beginning to think that all of the Cuban Minuto/Perla's are worthy (except the Siglo I, which has been an over-priced harsh-burning poorly-rolled cardboard-boxed PoS in my experience).
Los Statos de Luxe Delerios Feb 99 - cheap machine-made. Still strong after all these years.
Boli Short Boli Oct 08 - a couple years have made a vast improvement , but still nothing great.
Petite Edmundo
Romeo y Julietta Churchill Tubo, while watching the 1st half of the Denver / San Diego game. I enjoyed it.

Thanks Santa
601 green of some sort. Hanging out with my puppy in the garage.
